Dr Ekeowa-Anderson qualified in medicine from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School, London.
After achieving membership of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2000 she trained in Dermatology at Amersham, Oxford, Hammersmith, Royal London & Royal Free Hospitals.
She developed an interest in vulval dermatology and has presented research work in this field nationally and internationally.
Dr Ekeowa-Anderson was the Fellow in Genital Dermatology at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust – assessing and treating male and female patients. She was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust in 2010 where she treats the full range of skin diseases in adults and performs dermatological surgery.
At Barts Health she leads the Vulval service, working closely with Gynaecologists, Gynaeoncologists, Sexual Health physicians and Women’s health physiotherapists.
Dr Ekeowa-Anderson also oversees dermatology specialist training in the North Thames region, working with NHS England Health Education and Training.
